SOCHEM^® eave comb is a toothed plastic strip made of PVC material, which is used for structures at the eaves of buildings. Its function is to block sundries and fallen leaves at the cornice, or to prevent birds or other small animals to burrow into it while allowing air to circulate and water to escape. Eave comb usually consist of a set of horizontal metal or plastic bars spaced apart to allow water to pass but keep out leaf litter and other small animals such as birds. The eave comb is usually fixed under the eaves of the building with nails to prevent small animals such as birds from destroying the roof structure and to protect the walls and foundation of the building from water damage.
